10 Barn Owl Chicks Born in Northern Ireland Breakthrough

Two barn owl pairs in County Fermanagh successfully raised ten healthy chicks this summer, a major win for a species with fewer than 30 breeding pairs left in Northern Ireland.

The milestone marks the first time chicks have been ringed in the region to track their survival.
