1,400 Dutch Schools Slash Textbook Costs With New Coop

Nearly 1,400 schools in the Netherlands have joined forces to create their own textbook publisher, promising to cut costs by more than half while reducing waste.

The cooperative already represents 650,000 students and is challenging publishers who control 80% of the market.
