1,700-Year-Old Odyssey Fragment Found in Dutch Library

A researcher flipping through old Egyptian texts at a Dutch university discovered a tiny parchment from Homer's epic Odyssey dating back 1,700 years.

The fragment captures one of the epic's most dramatic moments and is one of only 30 similar pieces ever found.
