220-Pound Sea Turtle Returns to Ocean After 6-Year Recovery

A loggerhead sea turtle named Kai, rescued as a struggling hatchling weighing barely a pound, has been released back into the ocean after six years of innovative medical care.

The 220-pound turtle overcame severe lung problems with help from pool noodles, weights, and dedicated physiotherapy.
