2,300 Volunteers Remove 16,700 Pounds of Trash in Orange County

More than 2,300 volunteers turned out across Orange County to clean beaches and waterways in a single day, pulling over 16,700 pounds of trash from areas that drain into the ocean.

The massive community effort marked California's 50th anniversary of coastal protection.
