40 Volunteers Remove 247 Pounds of Trash from Alki Beach

Nearly 40 volunteers turned out for Puget Soundkeeper's annual beach cleanup at Alki Beach and Myrtle Edwards Park, removing 247 pounds of debris while collecting valuable scientific data.

The effort not only protected local wildlife but also contributed to an international database that drives environmental legislation.
