4,659 Volunteers Remove 24 Tons of Trash from Texas Beaches

Nearly 5,000 volunteers just celebrated 40 years of beach cleanups by removing almost 25 tons of trash from the Texas coast in a single day.

Since 1986, this program has mobilized over 600,000 people to protect more than 12,000 miles of shoreline.
