50+ Descendants Honor Josiah Henson With Memorial Quilt

More than 50 descendants of Underground Railroad hero Reverend Josiah Henson gathered in Maryland to unveil a handmade quilt honoring his legacy of courage and freedom.

The 7,000-square-foot tribute, created by quilters across the nation, now welcomes visitors to the museum built on the plantation where Henson was once enslaved.
