50,000 Californians to Clean Coasts and Waterways Sept. 19

California's largest volunteer event returns this month as more than 50,000 people prepare to remove trash from beaches, rivers, and creeks across all 58 counties.

The 42nd annual Coastal Cleanup Day has already pulled 13,770 tons of debris from waterways since 1985.
