After nearly three years of disruption, hundreds of thousands of children in Gaza returned to in-person learning this week, studying in tents, damaged buildings, and makeshift classrooms.

Despite 98% of schools being damaged and severe shortages of supplies, students and teachers are determined to reclaim their education.
