88-Year-Old to Cross Pacific Solo, Breaking His Own Record

Japanese ocean adventurer Kenichi Horie is preparing to sail solo across the Pacific Ocean at age 88, aiming to break the world record he set just three years ago at 83.

The two-month voyage from San Francisco to Japan launches this March.
