9,000 March as Sydney's Oxford Street Joins Heritage List

Sydney's famous Mardi Gras parade drew thousands of marchers and spectators just days after Oxford Street earned a spot on Australia's National Heritage List.

The celebration honored both queer history and the 78ers who started it all nearly five decades ago.
