955 Volunteers Remove 5,000 Pounds of Beach Trash in One Day

Nearly 1,000 volunteers across Santa Barbara County turned out to clean 73 miles of coastline, hauling away more than 5,000 pounds of litter in a single day.

The community effort protected local waters and proved that when neighbors unite for the environment, big things happen.
