Aberdeen Startup Makes Green Hydrogen from Seawater

A new Scottish company has cracked the code on producing clean hydrogen directly from ocean water, eliminating the need for freshwater in renewable energy production.

Hychor officially launched in May 2026 and plans to bring affordable hydrogen power to coastal communities by 2027.
