Ancient Odysseus Sanctuary Found on Greek Island Ithaca

Archaeologists have discovered an ancient sanctuary on the island of Ithaca where Greeks worshipped the legendary hero Odysseus for over 1,000 years.

The find includes votive offerings spanning from the Bronze Age to 31 BC and a tile fragment inscribed with Odysseus' name.
