Ann Arbor Gives Residents Free Solar Panels, Cuts Bills

Ann Arbor, Michigan is installing city-owned solar panels and batteries on homes at no upfront cost to residents, saving them hundreds yearly.

The program starts with 150 lower-income homes this year and will expand to thousands annually.
