App State Students Win Solar Car Race Across America

A team of college students just drove a solar-powered car they built from scratch nearly 2,000 miles from Minneapolis to Texas, becoming the first team ever to win the championship twice.

Their homemade vehicle weighed just 660 pounds and ran entirely on sunshine.
