Arkansas Single Parents Can Win $1,600 for College by Sept. 1

Single parents in Jefferson County, Arkansas have one week left to apply for scholarships worth up to $1,600 that help them pursue degrees while raising their kids.

Last year, nine local parents received awards totaling $13,200 to build better futures for their families.
