Arviat Grad Returns Home as School Counselor After BA

Mae Himngaat Mercer Manik earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Manitoba while grieving the loss of her father, grandmother, and grandfather.

Now she's back in Arviat, bringing mental health support to students in both Inuktitut and English.
