Australia Approves Groundbreaking Treatment for Blood Cancer

Australia has become the first country outside the US to approve a revolutionary therapy for chronic graft-versus-host disease, a serious complication affecting nearly half of blood cancer patients who receive donor stem cell transplants.

The treatment was developed from world-first research led by Australian scientists over a decade ago.
