Australia Creates Park to Protect 12,000 Koalas

New South Wales is moving forward with a massive koala national park that will protect at least 12,000 koalas and over 100 threatened species.

The 176,000-hectare sanctuary near Coffs Harbour will preserve old-growth forests while creating 100 new jobs for local communities.
