Bakersfield Cancer Run Raises $2M for Patient Support

More than 1,500 people gathered in Bakersfield for the annual Kern Cancer Run/Walk, including over 200 cancer survivors celebrating life together.

The event has raised $2 million to help local cancer patients pay medical bills and get transportation to treatment.
