Benue Closes IDP Camps as Displaced Families Return Home

Improved security in Nigeria's Benue State is allowing thousands of displaced families to return home and rebuild their lives after years in refugee camps.

Governor Hyacinth Alia announced plans to close several camps as residents voluntarily leave to resume farming and reconstruct their homes.
