Boodjamulla: 247,000 Acres Returned to Waanyi People

After decades of protest and negotiation, Australia's Boodjamulla National Park has been returned to its traditional Waanyi owners, who have cared for the land for 30,000 years.

The landmark agreement gives the Waanyi people equal management rights while keeping the popular park open to visitors.
