California Cleanup Day Draws 50K Volunteers Sept. 19

More than 50,000 Californians will fan out across the state on September 19 to clean trash from waterways before it reaches the ocean.

Last year's effort in San Joaquin County alone removed over 5,700 pounds of debris, with many sites looking noticeably cleaner than previous years.
