California Coast Volunteers Fight Invasive Grass by Hand

Volunteers are pulling invasive European beachgrass from California's coastal dunes one handful at a time, saving rare habitat that's vanishing under the foreign plant.

The next restoration day happens September 20 at Big Dune in Tolowa Dunes State Park.
