California Moves Forward With 25GW Offshore Wind Plan

California is pushing ahead with ambitious plans to build 25 gigawatts of offshore wind power by 2045, enough to power 7 million homes.

Despite federal opposition, the state has already secured $228 million in funding and is upgrading five major ports to make it happen.
