California Powers Water for 27M with Massive Solar Farm

A new 105-megawatt solar plant in Kern County will help power the pumps that lift water nearly 2,000 feet over mountains to reach 27 million Southern Californians.

It's the state's largest renewable energy project for water delivery and a major step toward carbon-free operations by 2035.
