Canada's Floating Island Travels 30km Across Reservoir

A football-field-sized island covered in mature trees appeared, vanished, and reappeared 30 kilometers away in British Columbia's largest lake.

Record-high water levels lifted the vegetated landmass from the shoreline, sending it on a journey across Williston Lake.
