Cumbria Plants 92,000 Trees to Fight Climate Change

A community forest project just planted more than 92,000 trees across northern England's Cumbria region, creating 106 hectares of new woodland in one planting season.

The effort brought together farmers, schools, and local groups to build landscapes that capture carbon and protect against floods.
