DC Grants $609K to Put EV Chargers on Lamp Posts

A climate tech startup is turning ordinary utility poles into electric vehicle charging stations, cutting costs by tens of thousands per location.

Washington DC just awarded funding to install 16 of these pole-mounted chargers across the city.
