$200M Timber Hub Brings 74 Jobs to Victoria's Portland

A new manufacturing plant in Victoria's west will transform locally grown blue gum into building materials, creating 74 permanent jobs and helping Australia meet its housing construction goals.

The hub will replace $70 million worth of imported timber products while turning wood that's currently exported as chips into high-value construction beams.
