East Meadow Blood Drive Saves 213 Lives Honoring Nurse

A Long Island community blood drive dedicated to a beloved nurse and first responder collected 71 pints of blood that will save up to 213 lives.

The event honored Carol Gyss-Gravely, who spent 40 years serving her community before her tragic death in January.
