Egypt Digitizes 800,000 Hours of Historic Radio and TV

Egypt has launched one of the Middle East's largest cultural preservation projects, racing to digitize nearly one million audio and video tapes that document decades of Egyptian and Arab history.

The ambitious two-year initiative will make 800,000 hours of historic broadcasts available on streaming platforms for future generations.
