A visionary surgeon is opening the Middle East's largest heart center on a 35-acre campus near Cairo, where the most complex heart surgeries will be completely free for children and families who can't afford care.

The facility will treat more than double the patients while training the next generation of African and Middle Eastern cardiac specialists.
