Ethiopia Doubles Power to 9,752 MW in Seven Years

Ethiopia has more than doubled its electricity generation capacity in just seven years, jumping from 4,462 to 9,752 megawatts while powering its homes almost entirely with renewable energy.

The East African nation is now exporting clean energy to five countries and positioning itself as the continent's next major green energy hub.
