Ethiopian Runner Sets 2nd-Fastest Marathon Ever on Debut

Ethiopia's Fotyen Tesfay ran the second-fastest women's marathon in history during her first attempt at the distance, clocking 2:10:53 in Barcelona.

The 28-year-old came within 57 seconds of the world record and shattered Ethiopia's national record.
