Ethiopian Runner Shatters Sydney Marathon Record by 82 Seconds

Addisu Gobena broke the Sydney Marathon course record by more than a minute, while world champion Peres Jepchirchir dominated the women's race.

Seven men finished under the old record in one of the fastest marathons of the year.
