Gates Foundation Gives UW $540M for Health Research

The Gates Foundation just made University of Washington history with a $540 million gift to expand critical health data that helps leaders save lives worldwide.

The funding will grow disease tracking from 925 locations to nearly 5,000 over the next decade.
