Georgia Gives $2.9M to Small Towns for Clean Energy Projects

Seventeen rural Georgia communities just received $150,000 grants to upgrade public buildings with energy-efficient systems that could slash their utility bills.

Many of these small towns are using federal funding for the first time to install LED lighting, modern HVAC systems, and plan for electric vehicle charging stations.
