Germany Moves Toward Opt-Out Organ Donor System

Germany's parliament is pushing to make every citizen an organ donor unless they opt out, a move that could save hundreds of lives each year.

With 8,200 people waiting and 633 deaths in 2025 alone, lawmakers say it's time to join most of Europe in presumed consent.
