Ghana Village Gets New Health Center After Years of Struggle

Residents of Nkwakwanua, Ghana no longer need to travel hours for healthcare after Japan and local partners opened a new health center replacing a facility that leaked, had no power, and was invaded by animals at night.

The new center brings maternal care, emergency services, and reliable water to a community that once relied on torchlights during power outages.
