Female journalists in northern Ghana are breaking through gender discrimination with new safety training that helps them tackle dangerous assignments and workplace bias.

A workshop backed by DW Akademie is giving 12 women reporters the tools to pursue hard-hitting stories while protecting themselves in the field.
