Google Backs 15 African AI Startups Solving Real Problems

From portable ultrasounds in rural Uganda to digital marketplaces for farmers, 15 African tech startups are getting major support from Google to scale AI solutions built for the continent.

They beat out nearly 2,600 applicants to join a program that's already helped create thousands of jobs.
