Hughesville Senior Wins $1K Cancer Foundation Scholarship

Ava Gorg, a standout student-athlete from Hughesville High School, received a $1,000 scholarship from the Paternostro Cancer Foundation to pursue molecular engineering at the University of Chicago.

The foundation has now awarded over $15,000 to local students since 2013.
