India Launches Heaviest Satellite Into Perfect Orbit

India's space program just reached a major milestone by launching its heaviest satellite ever into orbit.

The 2,367 kg EOS-05 satellite will become the country's first dedicated imaging satellite from geosynchronous orbit.
