Indonesia Plans 100 GW Solar Leap for 80,000 Villages

Indonesia just unveiled an ambitious roadmap to install 100 gigawatts of solar power across 80,000 villages, bringing clean electricity to tens of millions of people.

The $140-210 billion initiative could save the country over $1 billion annually in fuel subsidies while creating jobs for 180,000 trained technicians.
