Ireland Hits 3 GW Solar Capacity, Powers 1/3 of Grid

Ireland just crossed 3,000 megawatts of solar power and set a generation record where solar farms supplied over a third of the country's electricity.

Ten years ago, the nation had just 2 megawatts.
