Irish Families Wake at 3am to Watch Daughters Play AFLW

Across Ireland, families are setting alarms for the middle of the night to watch their daughters play Australian rules football half a world away.

With 47 Irish women now competing in the AFLW, early morning viewing parties have become a beloved tradition in small towns from County Leitrim to County Meath.
