Irish Runner Mark English Wins First European Gold at 33

After 12 years of near misses, Irish middle-distance runner Mark English finally claimed his first European Championships gold medal in the 800m.

The 33-year-old doctor made his winning move in the final 50 meters, becoming Ireland's first male European Athletics champion.
